Love Letter to K
A Montréal-led merch campaign for gender-affirming care, community solidarity, and policy visibility.
THE COLLECTIONArt you want to wear. A cause worth carrying.
Made by queer and trans artists, models and producers, all from Montréal
“My partner had worked so hard to reach this point. They hoped to feel affirmed in their body before our wedding at the end of the summer.
Then the timeline changed. I saw the devastation up close, and I could not look away.”
Our Story
The campaign began with one person’s heartbreak and the refusal to let that heartbreak stay private.
In 2025, I fell in love with K. They were scheduled to receive gender-affirming care, but as their scheduled date (and our wedding) was approaching, the funding was pulled and timelines were delayed. Delays are not abstract; they shape bodies, relationships, plans, and mental health.
Gender-affirming care is essential health care and needs our support. We aim to to raise awareness, reduce the burden on trans people waiting for surgery, and show that queer allies are behind them.
This project is a Love Letter to K and to everyone being asked to carry uncertainty, cost, and delay alone.
Local & In Love
When I fell in love with K, we fell in love with Montréal as well.
This campaign is developed by queer artists in Montréal. From the founder, to the graphic artist, to the models, to the photographer… the spirit of this team is local.
We’re partnering with allies to help share this project with a wider audience.
